We are currently looking for a Digital Marketing Coordinator to join our in-house Marketing team based at our Head Office in Leicester. Your role will be to support the day to day running of the Topps Tiles website by supporting the Digital Marketing Manager & Digital Experience Manager; the successful candidate will also assist the wider marketing team on special projects and with various tasks. This is a varied role which covers an array of projects so requires a highly organised, analytical and hardworking individual with the ability to prioritise their own workload.

The Role

Key Accountabilities 

  • New product launches – setting up new products on our website using information provided by our Buying team, uploading and resizing photography, and merchandising new products. Launching new products onto our Visualiser and testing before launch 
  • Product Maintenance - liaising with Buying, Technical and Customer Services to maintain existing products; amending product & availability details etc
  • Supporting with launching promotions and price changes on both Retail and Trade sites
  • Supporting the Digital Marketing Manager and Digital Experience Manager with web development projects and end to end testing before launch, as well as ad-hoc duties.
  • Working with our design agency to brief in new website graphics as well as our search agency
  • Reporting – Reporting on key business KPIs for the weekly commercial meeting; pulling together statistics for the monthly board report; and in-depth ad hoc reporting. Uploading weekly business stats to the IMRG portal. Weekly reporting will need to be completed in the absence of the Digital Experience Manager and circa every 6 weeks
  • Store support - managing new store openings and store closures on the website and Yext / GMB
  • Responding to store queries via Marketing Mail, and supporting Customer Services regarding online products and services. Liaising with our development agency to rectify issues.
  • Managing the Website Feedback inbox and investigating any website queries. This will include briefing in any fixes needed to support desk at T&C and managing these through to live (including testing)
  • Set up management of cart price rules (offers and promo codes).on both Retail and Trade sites.
  • Support the Trade Marketing Manager with the Trade website. Duties include creating new landing pages, support with Trade specific offers and other website content. 

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • Either a marketing qualification or previous experience working within a marketing department is essential – previous experience working for a retail brand would be an advantage
  • Intermediate Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills are essential – Advanced Excel skills would be an advantage
  • Previous experience in content management or working with website back-end/admin tools (preferably WordPress and Magento)
  • Knowledge of a web analytics package (preferably Google Analytics)
  • Photoshop experience would be an advantage
  • Excellent interpersonal skills coupled with an ability to build and develop strong working relationships within the marketing team as well as with other departments within the business
  • Excellent time management, planning and organisational skills
  • Able to work independently to deadlines and under pressure whilst maintaining accuracy and attention to detail 
  • Confidence and the ability to challenge and push back when necessary – influencing people at all levels
  • A methodical and analytical approach whilst still demonstrating a real passion and flair for marketing
