We are currently looking for a Business Development Manager to join our commercial business! Reporting into the Director or Sales, your role will be to drive profitable sales for the commercial division. You will build strong B2B relationships whilst supporting the Parkside and Strata brands focus on contractors and delivering against targets.  

Key Accountabilities

  • Develop and support the B2B sales generated by the sales team
  • Identify new sales opportunities and leverage the group purchasing power
  • Build strong relationships with our existing client base of established contractors and trade accounts
  • Drive maximum profit delivery across the team and collaborate with other Parkside sales teams, other leaders and managers and showrooms to drive additional sales

The Commercial Sales Team are established at driving sales by way of specification. This role will complement the core sales strategy by establishing extra sales opportunities with the contractors and trade accounts through the following activities:

  • Sale of adhesive and grout
  • Sale of trims and ancillary products
  • Sale of tiles by way of VE options
  • Supporting the sales teams specifications
  • Passing leads back to the sales teams
  • Supporting the sales teams on contractor issues

This role is ideally suited to a person with trade experience who has a good knowledge of “the contractual chain” and understands the tiling trade.

This role will  require travelling to clients so a driving license is essential.
