We are currently looking for a Trade Marketing Manager to join us on a 6 month contract. 

Working as part of our wider marketing team you will drive sales and engagement from our Trade customers via online & offline channels!

Marketing Plan

  • Responsible for the Topps Tiles Trade marketing plan to drive engagement and push brand perceptions of Topps as an outstanding trade retailer
  • Day to day management of our print and digital agency, as well as organising weekly calls and monthly meetings to ensure the plan is being delivered

Digital 

  • Management of end to end journey across the trade website and trade app - Responsibility for look, feel, content and functionality
  • Management of digital acquisition strategy
  • Liaising with CRO agency to fully optimise content and user journey on the trade website
  • Working alongside the retail Digital Marketing team to ensure seamless experience across trade and retail website
  • Project work including website and app developments

Print 

  • Management of end to end trade POS supply including brief, sign off, print and distribution to stores
  • Create printed material to support key trade business initiatives such as Rewards+ loyalty scheme and click & collect  
  • Responsibility for marketing material such as trade mailers and leaflets including brief, sign off and print; liaising with the Direct Marketing team on distribution, tracking and reporting

Promotions

  • Working alongside the Trade Team, Buying and the Direct Marketing team to ensure all trade promotions are fully optimised across all marketing platforms

Direct Marketing

  • Work alongside the Direct Marketing team to ensure the direct marketing schedule is supporting overall trade objectives and is consistent with the store and digital user journey

Social Media

  • Work alongside the Social Media Manager to ensure that all trade content is utilised fully across social media channels

Events

  • Work alongside the Trade Team to manage and deliver trade events such as Trade Nights, Training Days and Roadshows
  • Ensure trade events are effectively communicated across
  • Assist in the management of other internal and external events as and when they occur

Budget Management

  • Manage a budget to best ROI ensuring no overspends across any activity

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:

Essential                                                

  • Worked in a similar role for 2+ years
  • Strong digital marketing skills (experience with Magento and Wordpress would be beneficial)
  • Strong end to end project management skills; from brief to launch
  • Experience of budget management
  • Strong commercial, numerical, analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong communication, influencing and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Microsoft Excel skills to intermediate level
  • Experience of effectively managing 3rd party suppliers
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and strong multi-tasking skills
  • Team player

Desirable

  • Strong print marketing skills
  • Degree in related field

 This role is offered on an initial 6 month basis!
