An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Profit Protection Officer to join our Central Operations team at Topps Tiles. Reporting to the Security Manager you will be responsible for overseeing security and investigating security breaches across the company’s portfolio.

This is a field based role covering predominantly London, South-East, South-West and South Midlands 

The Role

Investigate security breaches and loss through theft (internal/external) in order to protect the interests of the Company, customers and stakeholders
Ensure that Topps Tiles stores and its subsidiaries comply with their legislative obligations and company requirements
Establish, develop and maintain effective working relationships, with store and support colleagues, by advising and guiding to enhance the prevention, containment and detection of crime
Identify continuous improvement opportunities to minimise stock loss
When required liaise with Police to investigate identified risk cases
Shared ownership of security procedures

The Person

Previous experience of security investigations and disciplinary processes within the retail sector is preferrable
Excellent planning, organisation and time management skills
Ability to challenge others and processes in a constructive manner
Knowledge of on-going legislative changes which affect company resilience preferrable
Strong attention to detail, numerate and analytical
Outlook, Microsoft Excel and Word skills to an intermediate standard
Proactive and able to work on own initiative with minimum supervision
Willing and able to travel and spend occasional nights away from home and when required, to work outside office hours to meet the needs of a seven day a week Retail Operation
Full UK driving licence
