Reporting in to the Director of Marketing, we are recruiting for an experienced, dynamic and talented Digital Project & Performance Manager who can take strategic responsibility for Topps Tiles’ digital performance and development roadmap. This will include maximising sales online, identifying opportunities to improve the user experience, tying up user touchpoints across our omnichannel business and scoping large development projects. Cross functional working with other areas within the Marketing team and other departments across the business is key.

Key Accountabilities 

Online Trading

  • Responsible for delivering the annual Digital trading targets, maximising every opportunity to grow essential KPIs including, but not limited to, conversion rate, ATV, orders and sales.
  • To grow the contribution of Digital sales towards overall company performance.
  • Weekly and monthly analysis of performance, ensuring the Digital channel is consistently performing at its optimal peak

Web Developments

  • Plan, prioritise and launch all web developments, ensuring all activity is delivered on time and within budget, focussing on business priorities while driving forwards improvements in UX to support the growth of Digital sales
  • Establish and maintain an effective web change release program to mitigate the risk of website downtime and impact on customers, ensuring all developments have received thorough pre and post launch UAT
  • Identify opportunities across the website to improve the user experience, based on analysis of the customer journey, feedback from customers via social and direct channels (such as customer services), and feedback from store colleagues.
  • Champion the Digital channel across wider business projects ensuring all web related developments are understood, planned, and delivered in a timely manner

Search Marketing

  • To improve the organic performance of Topps Tiles within Google’s SERPs, by managing the delivery of technical SEO recommendations, collaborating with our Digital Marketing Manager to support offsite content building, and leading the delivery of onsite content generation across our inspirational and transactional pages.

Product Promotion

  • Lead the Digital team to ensure all products are correctly and appropriately merchandised across the website, focussing on driving profitability at all times, whilst ensuring showcased products reflect key trends and sales performance
  • Ensure that all content on the Topps Tiles website is up to date, accurate and showcases our exclusive product offering and range proposition as effectively as possible

Channel Management

  • Work alongside the Data Driven Marketing Manager to develop and deliver a CRM growth strategy, including acquisition and retention through segmentation analysis and optimisation
  • Continually analyse competitor activity across all digital channels, ensuring all developments are analysed as potential opportunities for Topps.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies. Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate

Agency Management

  • Effectively manage key strategic partners of Digital, ensuring they feel and work as an extension of your direct reports. This includes keeping them informed of strategic business decisions and ensuring their focus is seamlessly aligned to the wider business goals
  • Effectively manage other Digital agencies, ensuring we’re always working with industry leaders to deliver best in class performance

Analytics & Insights

  • Utilise Google Analytics to identify opportunities to improve site performance and drive CRO
  • Manage a schedule of conversion rate optimisation tests and usability testing across various areas of the website; presenting key findings and working them into future activity

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role and have In-depth experience of mobile marketing and development. Experience of a CMS is essential as well as experience in Google Analytics. You will be super organised, detail-oriented and a real go-getter -Strong end to end project management skills; from brief to launch is also a must!
