We are currently recruiting for a Shift Team Leader (2pm – 10pm) to join our Warehouse operation. Working as part of, and in support of the Shift Management team, you will be actively seeking to improve overall standards, productivity & morale of the shift.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the late shift of up to 40 colleagues
  • Make H&S the principal focus of everyone in your team, ensuring that our colleagues operate safely in a safe working environment
  • Promote Colleague engagement, motivation & well being.
  • Determine staffing levels across operational tasks and assign workload
  • Identify areas of improvement and suggest innovative improvements or adjust existing work procedures and practice
  • Measure and report the effectiveness of warehousing activities and employees performance
  • Manage resource to budget
  • Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction by driving improvements in pick accuracy and damage reduction.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments and business units to deliver excellent service to our customers.

The Person:

  • Previous experience of leading teams within a logistics environment.
  • Able to display effective supervisory skills and techniques
  • Knowledge of warehouse software packages and MS Office proficiency
  • Ability to input, retrieve and analyse data
  • Hands-on commitment to getting the job done
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to direct and coordinate operations
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
