We are currently looking for a Trade Marketing Manager to join us on a 6 month contract. 

Working as part of our wider marketing team you will drive sales and engagement from our Trade customers via online & offline channels!

Marketing Planning

  • Day to day management of our print and digital agency, as well as organising weekly calls and monthly meetings to ensure the strategy is being delivered

Digital

  • Management of end to end journey across the trade website; responsibility for user experience and creating and monitoring multichannel touchpoints across on and offline
  • Responsibility for look and feel and functionality of the trade website
  • Management of content across the trade website – ensuring that online is the central business repository for information; including colleagues and customers
  • Liaising with suppliers to ensure that all available is fully utilised including video and instructional How Tos
  • Management of digital acquisition strategy across social media and display advertising
  • Liaising with CRO agency to full optimise content and user journey on the trade website
  • Working alongside the retail Digital Marketing team to ensure seamless experience across trade and retail website

Print

  • Responsibility for identification of new POS opportunities in store to highlight trade offering to customers
  • Work alongside the Direct Marketing Manager to create printed material to support key trade business initiatives such as Rewards+ loyalty scheme and trade credit  
  • Responsibility for marketing material such as trade flyers and leaflets including brief, sign off and print; liaising with the Direct Marketing team on distribution, tracking and reporting

Promotions

  • Working alongside the Trade Team, Buying and the Direct Marketing team to ensure all trade promotions are fully optimised across all marketing platforms

Direct Marketing

  • Work alongside the Direct Marketing team to ensure the direct marketing schedule is supporting overall trade objectives and is consistent with the store and digital user journey

Social Media/PR

  • Work alongside the Brand Communications Manager to ensure that all trade content is utilised fully across social media channels
  • Work alongside the Brand Communications Manager to sign off the fortnightly trade social content schedule; ensuring that this is supporting overall trade objectives and is consistent with the store and digital user journey
  • Monitoring of trade forums and reporting on brand sentiments for Topps Tiles – possibility of management of our own forum on the trade website
  • Management of a competition schedule, working with both suppliers and the Brand Communications Managers to ensure these are fully optimised across all marketing platforms
  • Work alongside the Brand Communications Manager and our PR agency to ensure all opportunities for Topps Trade are utilised

Competitor Analysis

  • Work alongside the Trade Team to manage the monitoring of competitor activity including pricing and marketing

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:

Essential                                                

  • Worked in a similar role for 1 year or ready to move up to 1st Trader Marketing Manager role
  • Strong digital marketing – Magento & Wordpress knowledge
  • Strong end to end project management skills; from brief to launch
  • Strong commercial, numerical, analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong communication, influencing and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Experience of effectively managing 3rd party suppliers
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and strong multi-tasking skills
  • Team player

Desirable

  • Degree in related field
  • Print knowledge
  • CRM knowledge or awareness
